HERE'S WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT US

After choice of partner, Unveil was without a doubt the next best decision we made for our big day.

We chose Unveil because we loved their natural style, and wanted our video shot in a complementary style to our photos.
Moments captured were candid, not forced or uncomfortable, Brydn and Ian knew exactly where and when to be to capture our day. They put us and all of our guests at ease, and we couldn’t be any happier with their work. They were with us every step of the way, and I am so happy we chose them for the occasion.

Wedding planning can be quite stressful, but the team managed timelines and executions for a seamless experience and maximised enjoyment of our day. Since we got our pictures and film back we have been completely obsessed, feedback received from our guests was nothing but glorious and complimentary and we look back at our day with the fondest and happiest of memories, all captured.

We couldn’t imagine having had our wedding captured by anyone else, Ian and Brydn were truly the best. Not only does their talent speak for itself, they are also so brilliant, energetic, patient and kind, they mixed so well with all our friends and families. We didn’t give them too much of a brief and let them guide us, which is where their experience really spoke. We are just over the moon with how our day was captured and being able to look back and treasure these memories in photo and film.

LET US WALK YOU THROUGH OUR JOURNEY WITH
ANNABEL & CAMERON FOR THEIR WEDDING IN BIOT, SOUTH OF FRANCE

Before the wedding..

Annabel & Cameron first approach us via our website, explaining in simple some of the details of their wedding. We began our journey over Zoom, and from that initial call, they immediately knew they wanted to work with us, and that feeling was mutual. Fun, enthusiastic and like-minded, we knew filming and photographing their wedding day was going to be an absolute blast.

We always want to make sure we've met our couples in person so we've got to know them. A month or so before the big day, we met them at the pub in central London for a proper get to know each other session over a few pints, and by the end of this we'd all secured the confidence that working together was going to be so perfect. Here we also discussed the final plans and preparations taking place, and worked out a plan of action for our video and photography team.

The day before, and morning of..

The day prior to huge celebrations was firstly travelling. Leaving Luton at 7am, we arrived in Nice at 10am local time, getting to the Air BnB for 11am. By this point, we were all such close friends, we were fortunate to be invited to lunch with Annabel and Cameron at her mums house, nestled into the hills of Biot looking over the coast of Nice.

The plans for the day prior was to photograph the 'official' wedding, taking place just upstairs to the ceremony's church location the following day. So after some lunch, we headed back to our Air BnB, to meet everyone attending at 4pm. The vibes were emmaculate. It was so chilled, and in such a gorgeous location, we were very blessed to be photographing here. This pre larger wedding shoot was the perfect warm up, ready for the big day following.

The following morning consisted of us travelling back to Annabel's mums, as well as Cameron's hotel. We'd pre-planned some ideas with the guys, so when we arrived we all knew what we were doing and where to be. Here we always try to tick off a certain list of photographs that we know our couples want, and then get creative with our surroundings and locations to capture some group photography and video where possible.

The ceremony..

The guests are gathering, and the groom has arrived. We'd pre-warmed up at the courtyard of the venue the day before, so we're ready to capture our content and all round great atmosphere building for the happy couple. Straight away we always try to blend in, being ourselves and chatting whilst we snap away and film. This way, by the time the evening comes around, anyone can approach us and be comfortable when around the camera team!

The ceremony was absolutely stunning. Situated in the middle Biot, the church was one of the most beautiful we've shot in. It was dark, but due to our advanced equipment and editing techniques, you'd never be able to tell and we keep our quality. We wandered round to capture all the angles possible for one crew member, and for the video side of things, we were recording both the audio and a secondary camera for maximum production value thats possible with a single videographer.

Confetti & Group Photography..

Right after the ceremony is a key time to be organised and ready for the confetti and the group shots. The confetti shot takes a little bit of time to organise, so we usually ask some help from either your toastmaster, or on this occasion the groomsmen & bridesmaids. We like to ensure everyone has some confetti in their hands and everyone is on a cohesive line, so the confetti photos and video looks amazing! The setting alone made for gorgeous photos, but the lighting control and huge energy from this wedding in particular made this confetti line one of our favourites. Even down to the little details of printed poems on the confetti cones, everything was thought out so perfectly for this stunning wedding.

As a tip, we ask you to have a list of group shots to a number totalling to 10 or less. The reason being it can be very time consuming, and usually would end up then reducing our time in the wedding couples shoot, which is really important for the film and photography. We're experienced in what looks great, and will happily organise the group shots to what looks best, and of-course more than happy to take guidance on something you've seen before.

The couple's shoot & wedding reception..

It's time for the wedding couples photoshoot and here is the prime opportunity for the killer shots of the day, with maximum fun and premium wedding photography, tied up with video. Prior to the day, we walked to check out both the venue, and a walking route of the stunning town of Biot. We did this to maximise time on the day, to ensure we capture as many possible wedding photographs, and scenes for our wedding film.

The key part of working with us is the element of fun, and nothing too forced. We work with scenes rather than posed shots, so that way we can capture the real elements of what our couples have to offer. Our wedding photography in the South of France for Annabel & Cameron, took us on a journey through the town, down the hills, across the edge of town, to the venue. The cobblestone roads, flowery walls, pastel coloured buildings and our beautiful couple really did make for what we feel is our best wedding couples photography to-date.

In this particular wedding photography and video package, there were two crew members, so we worked together throughout, and there was enough time after to capture the guests mingling as part of the reception as well prior to the official entrance. On days where timings after different, we might require a member or two more to ensure you get the full coverage and nothing is missed while we're off shooting!

The wedding breakfast & speeches..

Once we're all ready, Annabel & Cameron we're introduced. We're on hand to capture all the entrance photography and video, which then went into the speeches after some food. At the point catering begins, we tend to have a rest and have some food too, as no one wants to be filmed or photographed while eating.

The speeches were amazing, and gave us really nice options for the narrative approach we take to our wedding videography. On hand our photographer also captured all of the lovely moments that were introduced via the speeches, as well as the guests reactions. We tend to have two cameras set-up for the filming so we can guarantee a longer edit later down the line if Annabel & Cameron fancy seeing it! Not only this, but it allows our videographer to work efficiently knowing one angle is secured, so has more freedom to capture the intricacies as well as the guests and their laughs, smiles and cries as the speeches continue.

The evening antics, cake cutting and first dance..

After a quick test shot with Ian (our videographer) and Annabel (the bride), we were ready for the evening antics, from first dance, to partying and the cake. There was so much positive energy throughout the day, and lots left for the night time. We really value our friendships we build, so much so we let Annabel take Brydn's camera, who took some photos of us and her guests for an while!
