HERE'S WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT US

Annie and I are absolutely amazed with the photos and of course the beautiful video! You have captured the day beautifully and watching the video yesterday evening it just made all the memories come back and will help keep them in our minds for years to come!

Everyone looks so happy - you really seized the magic on screen and also in the photos!!! Genuinely - every emotion has been captured; the church looks great on film as does the hotel.

I love the music choice as well - I was singing one of the songs yesterday after watching the video - love it! We will both cherish these moments for as long as we will live. Just wish we could do it all over again!

Thank you soo much for your hard work and talent! Even our guests were saying how wonderful you guys are!! You literally were just part of the family on the day and made us all feel soo relaxed.

We can’t thank you enough!

LET US WALK YOU THROUGH OUR JOURNEY WITH
ANNIE & LIAM FOR THEIR WEDDING AT DE VERE LATIMER ESTATE

Before the wedding..

Annie and Liam found us through our website after looking online for multiple wedding photographers and wedding videographers. They told us they were looking for someone to shoot their wedding who had a great vibe as well as being able to capture some great wedding content. When we jumped on the call with them they said that they felt the connection immediately and felt that we would be the right team to shoot their wedding.

Keeping it to a single wedding photographer and wedding videographer Annie and Liam could be sure that we would blend in with our guest and be part of their wedding party as well as their content team. We joined them at the Latimer Estate where they walked us through the day and gave us a chance to get to know this stunning wedding venue. Being an Irish catholic wedding the ceremony would be taking place in a church so we had to make sure all of our timings we on point to get in between the two wedding venues. With a plan in place we were ready to press on and start shooting the big day.

The morning of..

It was the morning of the wedding day and we were so ready to capture some wedding photography and wedding videography. Now we always make sure to have a good breakfast before leaving for our weddings as they are long days and you need plenty of energy. Arriving at Annie’s we were immediately offered breakfast in the form of sausage and bacon sandwiches! Even with breakfast in us already we couldn’t refuse that offer.

Having the single videographer and photographer we stayed with the bride in the morning whilst the groom got ready elsewhere. Sticking with Annie gave us plenty of time to capture the process of her getting ready. We followed her through the process of her wedding make up, wedding hair and of course the fitting of the wedding dress! It was an emotional moment once the dress was on and the father of the bride came in to see his daughter for the first time. Annie had to make sure her wedding make up didn’t smudge. Heading outside Annie and her father got into her wedding car, a perfect white Rolls Royce and off they went to the church.

The ceremony..

Liam was at the front of the church with his groomsmen eagerly awaiting Annie’s arrival. Being an Irish Catholic wedding the ceremony was between 45-60 minutes which meant our videographer had to find a good position for their second angle. This angle would be in a static position focused on the wedding couple so the videographer could easily float around capturing reactions knowing they had a camera on the bride and groom at all times.

When we shoot a church wedding we always need to be respectful of the space and places we cannot shoot from. To make sure we know where to go we always chat with the vicar ahead of the ceremony to make sure we don’t get in each other's way. With everything set up and in position, Annie was ready to walk down the aisle.

Annie and her bridal party looked stunning as they walked down the aisle and Liam didn’t turn around until the very last minute. It was clear he was wowed by his beautiful bride. With positions agreed with the vicar, our photographer was able to capture the whole walk with ease and most importantly the moment that the father of the bride passed over his daughter.

The wedding service was delightful with multiple wedding readings from Annie & Liam’s friends and family. After capturing multiple wonderful moments we knew the time was right to get into position for the first kiss. With a big roar from the crowd Liam & Annie kissed for the first time as husband and wife and made their way out of the church to start life as a married couple.

Group Photography..

As a tip, we ask you to have a list of group shots to a number totalling to 10 or less. The reason being it can be very time consuming, and usually would end up reducing our time in the wedding couples shoot, which is really important for the film and photography. We're experienced in what looks great, and will happily organise the group shots to what looks best, and of-course more than happy to take guidance on something you've seen before.

In this instance, it was actually Liam's birthday as well as his wedding day! So when everyone was in place everyone started singing Happy Birthday. Liam stepped forward and soaked in the moment. Of course we joined in with the singing as we captured our shots.

The couple's shoot & wedding reception..

With the wedding party group shot done it was now time for the couples shoot! The key part of working with us is the element of fun, and nothing too forced. We work with scenes rather than posed shots, so that way we can capture the real elements of what our couples have to offer.

If you asked Annie and Liam months before their wedding if they would skip through a field in their wedding suit and dress they would have probably said no. However, we are able to bring that fun and lighthearted energy to our couples shoots that allow our couples to totally relax. It's in these moments we can capture those genuine smiles and laughs as we are smiling and laughing right along with you. Sure enough, we had Annie and Liam skipping through the field

Once back from our couples shoot it was time to capture some mingling shots of all of the wedding guests. This is the part of the day where everyone starts to relax after the excitement of the ceremony. We take pride in being able to mingle with your guests and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. We just blend in to the party and allow you to take the moment to catch up with your closest friends and family.

The wedding breakfast & speeches..

We were on hand to capture the entrance to your wedding reception on both photography and video, which then went into the speeches after some food. At the point when catering begins, we tend to have a rest and have some food too, as no one wants to be filmed or photographed while eating.

The speeches were amazing, and gave us really nice options for the narrative approach we take to our wedding videography. Our photographers capture so many lovely moments during the wedding speeches from the speaker, but we also focus on the guests' reactions too. Annie’s brother in particular did a very emotional speech which left Annie in tears and got himself choked up too. It was clear there was so much love for one another in the room and it really came across in both the photography and wedding film

We tend to have two cameras set-up for the filming so we can guarantee a longer edit later down the line if Annie and Liam fancied seeing it! Not only this, but it allows our videographer to work efficiently knowing one angle is secured, so has more freedom to capture the intricacies as well as the guests and their laughs, smiles and cries as the speeches continue.

The evening antics, cake cutting and first dance..

With the speeches finished and the breakfast over it was time to cut the wedding cake. Sometimes the cake can be positioned a little bit away from the dance floor, for obvious reasons once everyone has had a few drinks. So we make sure to adapt our settings and lighting to suit any situation. In this instance our photographer used flash on their camera to capture the cutting of the cake, allowing for the photography to be perfectly exposed.

It was now time  for the first dance and wedding party. This group of wedding guests certainly knew how to have a good time! Annie and Liam had booked a wedding DJ who was using vinyl and was mixing tracks the classic way! Once their first dance concluded they were able to get everyone up on the dancefloor with such great energy.

Everyone parties let to the night with classic Irish tunes which almost everyone got up and danced to. Once the cameras were put away and our footage was backing up, we couldn’t resist joining in too.
